Many of our children are already struggling with obesity and other consequences of malnutrition at a young age. Supermarket shelves are bursting with products aimed specifically at children and young people, but very few of these foods actually fulfil the nutritional and physiological needs of the target group. What do children and adolescents really need? Which foods fulfil these needs? How can we promote children's food literacy and make it easier for them to make choices?
This three-hour webinar will present projects designed to help children, parents and educators navigate the product jungle. From an app that compares foods and their nutritional values at the click of a button, to guidelines for balanced school buffets and healthy snacks, to practical implementation options in the classroom, everything is included.
Join us and become an explorer of the food jungle!
